The MacCallum family breeds versatile bulls using the prefix “MANALI”. They aim to help clients meet different market specifications with the ability to finish animals on grass or pasture. 

Originally based at “Yarramac”, Scone and now located at Woolbrook NSW, Jim MacCallum said the Manali Stud used unique genetics from the Coleman Limousin Ranch in Montana USA, as well as the Hager Cattle Company, North Dakota.

“These genetics have been sourced through several trips to the USA to see the cattle running on theses ranches in the flesh,” he said. “And sourced due to their soundness and suitability for the Australian Cattle Market and Australian climate conditions.
